VIP Casino
Baccarat is played and programmed with Atlantic
City Gaming rules.
Authority:
New Jersey Casino Control Commission.
Rule
Exceptions: The cards are shuffled after
each hand.
Two hands
are dealt in Baccarat - The banker's
hand and the player's hand. Prior
to each deal, the player wagers on whether
the Player's hand or the Banker's hand is
closest to a total of 9. The player also
has the option to wager on a tie (i.e. both
the banker's and player's hands total the
same). 8 decks of 52 cards are used.
Your
chips are stacked by denomination ($1, $5,
$25, $100, $500) at the bottom of the game
window. Select the amount you would like
to wager on a given hand by clicking the
left mouse button on the chip of that denomination.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased
by placing the mouse on the stack that you
wish to add to your bet and clicking with
the left mouse button. Each time you click
the left mouse button on a stack of chips
you will add a chip from that pile to your
planned wager amount. In addition, the denomination
indicator arrow changes colour to match
the colour of the chip denomination that
you have selected. By clicking on the right
mouse button you will withdraw your entire
wager. Your total bet will be displayed
in the "Bet" just below Username. You may
repeat your last bet by clicking on the
ReBet button or by simply hitting the "0"
button of your numeric keyboard. Other keyboard
shortcuts are summarized below.
Once
you have placed a bet on the table, you
may choose to skip the given deal (before
your first card is dealt) by clicking on
the "Pass" button or to proceed with the
bet by pressing "Deal". If you do not bet
or pass within 15 seconds from the beginning
of your turn, you will be automatically
excluded from that particular hand. Note
that if you join a table in the middle of
a hand, you must wait until the round is
over and after that you will be able to
bet on the next hand.
After
each player has pressed either the Deal
or Pass button, the Player and Banker are
dealt two cards. All tens and picture cards
are worth zero, aces are worth 1, and all
other cards are worth their face value.
If the value of cards exceeds 9, then the
value is adjusted by subtracting 10 from
the total.
Example:
 |

| 9+7=16 |

After
the first two cards are dealt to both the
Player and Dealer, a third additional card
may be dealt but the player does not ask
for a third card. All additional cards are
subject to a third card rule. No hand receives
more than three cards. When the Player and
Banker hands equal the same total, the hand
is declared a Tie. If the value of the cards
in either the Player's Hand or the Banker's
Hand is an 8 or a 9 (a "natural") after
receiving their initial two cards then no
more cards shall be dealt to either hand.
If the value of the cards in the Banker's
Hand on the first two cards is 0 to 7 inclusive,
the Player's hand shall draw in accordance
with the Third Card Rules.
Third
Card Rules:

Player's two cards total:

After
the Player's Hand acts on a third card draw,

For keyboards
without keypads, you must use the "Fn" key
plus the shortcuts above (e.g. Fn + Enter).
Note:
A list
of the previous winners can be displayed
by clicking on Statistics. The Banker's
hand is indicated by the letter 'B', the
Player's hand is indicated by the letter
'P' and a tie is indicated by a dash '-'.
Consecutive wins by either the Banker or
the Player are displayed in the same column.
A new column is displayed when the Banker
or Player starts a new winning streak. A
tie is considered part of the same winning
streak and is always displayed in the same
column as the previous winner. In addition,
the sum of all Banker wins, Player wins,
ties and total hands played is displayed
at the bottom of the statistics window.
